For this project I was tasked with taking 2 games/genres and doing an interesting mechanic combination. I decided to take the spellcasting mechanics from Magicka, and the interaction of the different elements, and shift it into a linear puzzle game (think Portal, or Q.U.B.E.).
Please note, this level is unfinished, and there are a fair few placeholder assets, including for the spells, which yes, currently take up an obnoxious amount of screen space. I plan for one more, open area of play at the end of this level where the player is put into a somewhat sandbox-style environment and has to figure out how to proceed with a lack of guidance.
Accessibility is a requirement for this module, thus I will be adding subtitles to support the terrible voice acting.
